Where are you from?
Eastern North Carolina, now living in the middle part of the stateHow long have you been shooting?
On and off for the past 12 years. But it took a serious turn (otherwise known as a obsession) in the past year and a half.
Are you formally trained?
Somewhat. I have a degree in Visual Communications. Many of my classes were black and white darkroom photography. That is where I fell in love with the art form. Since then I have taken a few classes here and there at local art centers and joined online support groups where I am constantly learning from others.
What is your inspiration for the Domesticated series?
I am fascinated by vintage imagery of housewives in the "roles" that society has set up for them, particularly in the 40s and 50s. There is something about taking a typical domesticated, housewife shot and mixing it up in a way that the audience is not expecting.
Upcoming projects?
I guess you could say my biggest project is the baby in my belly, due out in October. :) Photography wise, I just finished a band shoot, and I have a salon campaign, a wedding and two shows (one joint and one solo) rounding out the rest of the year.

Though her work dates back to the early 1900's, she is a new find for me. The way she intertwines nature with the human form is so inspiring.

Построить дом можно и своими руками. Но, сказать по правде - это не будет очень быстро, тем более, если у вас нет достаточного опыта. Ввиду отсутствия опыта дом будет строится медленно и возможно допущение определенных ошибок. Лучше доверить строительство профессионалам.
