Yesterday I drove to Chelsea with the hubs and Olive for an estate sale and a little photo walk around town. We ran into an old friend and got drinks at Zou Zou's Cafe and then took to the streets. Chelsea has an old-fashioned charm about it and many memories for me. My Great Aunt owned a hair salon in Chelsea the 1940s and she and her sisters raised my grandmother here, after her mother died.
Although my grandmother moved back to Ann Arbor, I did enjoy a few Christmases in Chelsea with those great aunts.
It's really a cute town and only about a 10-15 minute drive far from Ann Arbor.
